How is fuel conversion computed?

Modified on Tue, 2 May, 2023 at 5:05 PM

As a general rule, we convert your fuel based on the prices during your purchase date, also taking into account any promos that were running that day. To understand better, you may refer to the sample computations below.

Let’s say you bought 50.000L of Gas 95 during a promo day, when prices were the following:

  • Gas 91: P61/L - P4/L discount = P57/L
  • Gas 95: P63/L - P3/L discount = P60/L
  • Gas 97: P64/L - P3/L discount = P61/L

That means you spent P3,000 (50.000L x P60/L) on Gas 95 that day.

Scenario 1: Converting your Gas 95 to Gas 97

  • Gas 97 Price (Purchase Date): P61/L
  • Equivalent Gas 97 Volume: P3,000 / P61/L = 49.180L

Scenario 2: Converting your Gas 95 to Gas 91

  • Gas 91 Price (Purchase Date): P57/L
  • Equivalent Gas 91 Volume: P3,000 / P57/L = 52.632L
